![]() Delay Going in Gear/ Between Gears– If there is a long pause between gear selection and engagement, it can often be attributed to a faulty shift solenoid. To put it simply, it is stuck doing what it was doing when the solenoid failed. ![]() This is due to the fact that the transmission fluid cannot be rerouted to the part of the transmission that would be making the next move. Failure to Downshift– The 6T45E will often fail to downshift if one or more of the shift solenoids are stuck open or closed. Here are the main symptoms of a bad Equinox shift solenoid. When one of them goes bad, it can adversely affect the performance of the transmission. It uses shift solenoids to accomplish this. Many of the problems that occur with this transmission can be attributed to the fact that it is fully controlled by the engines computer. That doesn’t mean that if you are using your Equinox to tow, or some other heavy use application that you should never change it though. That means that as long as it is operated under normal conditions, it will not require any transmission fluid change. It is considered to be a fill for life transmission. We’ll line out some of the more common problems with it below. The 6T45 is a relatively trouble-free transmission. They could be manufactured both stateside and in Korea. The 2016 Equinox was equipped with six speed automatic transmissions. There really aren’t any notable problems with the 2016 Equinox motors. For the most part, they are fairly reliable motors. The LAF I4 was rated at 182hp and the LLFX was rated at 301hp. They were the direct injected Ecotec 2.4L LAF I4 and the 3.6 LFX V6 engines. The 2016 Chevy Equinox was available with two engines. There’s a link above you can click to see all 99 complaints. This is a great way to see what issues people are having with this year of Equinox. Anytime someone makes a complaint to them it is recorded and categorized. Here’s a pie chart of the most common issues with the 2016 NHTSA. There’s not one common theme to the complaints. Engine– 15.6% of the complaints made about the 2016 Chevy Equinox have been about the engine, which really is not too much cause for concern.Electrical System– There have been a number of electrical reported for the 2016 Chevy Equinox, which account for 15.6% of the total vehicular issues.12.5% of reported issues came from the Equinox’s wipers or visibility. But, it’s still one of the most commonly reported issues with the NHTSA. It was fixed for the 2016 year, so there’s no recall. Wiper/Visibility– There was a recall on the 2013 model year Equinox for a bad ball that connects to the wiper motor arm.All in all, 2016 appears to be a relatively trouble free year for the Chevrolet Equinox. This page was written in May of 2018, and will be updated again in about another year to add the new data. There have been 32 complaints to the HHTSA so far, which is really a drop in the bucket compared to an older car. Recalls 2016 Equinox Most Common Problems This page is meant to give a broad overview of the most common problems with the 2016 Chevy Equinox, with an emphasis on engine problems, transmission problems, and recalls.

![]() Yep, it actually works, though writing back to the card takes forever, so that's not something I'll do.but that then means messing with my import workflow which I'd be unhappy about (though probably easily adapted). In fact you can have it update the original file (by specifying the same input and output directory), and furthermore it will even do this by reading from, and writing back to, the files on the flash card. The thing I don't like is that it doesn't (when shooting RAW) write an XMP generates a new version of the file. Import pictures and viola, GPS data now in the metadata fields (accurate so far! ). A free desktop app (Mac or Windows) is then used to read the pictures from your shoot and the picture from the iPhone app and updates the Exif data in the pictures with the appropriate GPS data (using the pukka Exif fields apparently).Ĥ. When done shooting, press "Export" in the app and the trip data is presented as a single screen "bar-code" which you take a picture of.ģ. ![]() When about to start shooting on your field trip, start a new 'Trip' on the iPhone, which uses the inbuilt GPS capability to record a 'trip log' (there are various options as to how frequently the location data is recorded in the log to help minimise battery usage).Ģ. It warned about overwriting the images metadata, I said, OK and there is no IPTC>Image information of any kind (existing was over written) and I don't have any GPS coordinates in LR.Īm I missing something in my workflow? It's a demo of HoudahGeo, but I only tried it on 5 images, which is the demo limit. ![]() I then went to LR>Metadata>Read Metadata from file I then selected view in Finder, drag-dropped to HoudahGeo, chose Geocode using a map, set everything correctly, chose Export>Write EXIF tags, settings were Geocoded images only as the choice on the top, and the rest of the settings were all checked on the bottom. 123 1st street, anytown, ST and resided in LR. I took 5 images that were set to IPTC>Image>Sublocation, City, State in LR Ie. It will update the EXIF in the file, and you then use Metadata > Read Metadata to update the catalogue. With images that already reside in my LR library, can I add GPS data manually to an image's metadata?Īll the images I would like to do this with are family photos which are all. I see how it's worded it's implying a different question than I intended. Easily corrected by stepping back one in the history panel, but a nuisance all the same.so I agree that if using this method to add geodata it's better to do it BEFORE importing into Lightroom.īut as this would screw up my existing import workflow it's something I'll need to think about should I ever decide to start geotagging en masse. However, one thing that also happened was that this metadata read also caused a "Reset Settings" to be applied to the develop history, so of course the preview reverted back to the original imported image. I had Geosetter write the data to XMP sidecar, and when I then did the "Read Metadata from File" process, I found all the GPS data was imported, which is contrary to your findings. I did some limited testing using Geosetter (following your recommendation) on a few existing Lightroom-managed CR2s a month or so ago. Go now to the GPS program and add GPS data via a sidecar, then return to LR and try Metadata > Read Metadata. But import some more raw files which haven't had any GPS data added.

Willie Nelson, President of Farm Aid, recently called for the national Occupy movement to declare an “Occupy the Food System” action. It’s as clear an exposition of why organic farming must become the way we conduct our food production as any I’ve seen. Now if that factory is supplied with lots of parts, the car might have a CD player and radio with surround speakers, antilock brakes, hybrid engine, and all the bells and whistles the engineers can think up.Ī good patch of organic soil is like that well-supplied factory, giving its crops the ability to express all the systems programmed into their DNA. ![]() If the factory has only a limited number of parts, it will only be able to make a bare-bones automobile-engine, clutch, drive shaft, universal, seats, steering wheel. Think of a factory where automobiles are made. Some of these nutrients add to the flavor of a food, or are associated with flavor development. Studies from the U.S., Europe, even the United Nations have shown the nutritional superiority of organic foods. Many, many studies have shown that organic food has more nutrients than conventional, despite corporate agribusiness’s propaganda to the contrary. All their systems and functions are turned on because they have the raw materials they need for the systems to perform well.įirst, they produce additional nutrients. The result is that the plants-and the animals that live from those plants-become healthy. And the metabolic processes of that life feed the plants all kinds of nutrients besides the nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium minerals of the conventional system. In good organic soil, on the other hand, life abounds. The plants themselves are given a meager diet of mineral fertilizer and the plants’ roots don’t find much else of value to absorb from the soil. And so in conventional agriculture, the soil is used mostly to prop up plants. Conventional soil is doused with pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides-chemicals designed to kill things. There’s nothing to blow the life in the soil aflame by feeding the naturally-present soil bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes, worms, and the myriad of other creatures that live in the soil. In a conventional field, chemical fertilizer contains nitrogen compounds, phosphorus, and potassium-the so-called macro nutrients. The question arises, why does organic food taste better? What’s important is that most of the time, people can taste the subtle quality differences between organic and conventional foods. (My guess is that the conventional frozen enchiladas had been given some artificial flavor boosters, but I don’t know that.) conventional and organic did win, except for the frozen enchiladas. Oz asked his audience to taste-test organic vs. In a well-known taste test conducted by Time magazine, using New York City chefs as the tasters, the chefs preferred the taste of organic over conventional foods 66 percent of the time. ![]() Not every example of an organic food is going to beat its conventional counterpart in the taste department 100 percent of the time. The range is the set of all y-values that its graph covers. The domain of a piecewise function is the union of all intervals that are given in its definition. How to Find Domain and Range of a Piecewise Function? Its graph has more than one part and yet it is possible to graph it without lifting the pencil. What is a Piecewise Continuous Function?Ī piecewise continuous function is a function that is piecewise and continuous. ![]() Given that “The Elder Scrolls 6” is still in pre-production and won’t receive any additional attention until after Starfield is released, it’s feasible that Skyrim fans won’t get their sequel until the late 2020s. ![]() “They do take a while… we’re trying as hard as we can, but we want them to be as best as they can be for everybody,” Howard said.īecause Starfield has been pushed back from 2022 to 2023, it will have been in development for more than seven years and out of pre-production for more than five. Howard assured fans that he feels their pain, saying, “I wish came out faster, I really do…” The unfortunate reality is that AAA video games-especially with advancing technology and graphical complexity-require a long development cycle, a fact further touched on by Howard. Howard revealed that “The Elder Scrolls 6”, which was placed on hold to focus on Starfield, is still in pre-production four years after it was first announced in an interview that also confirmed the existence of Fallout 5. Unfortunately, according to Bethesda’s Todd Howard, who recently spoke with IGN, the long wait for “The Elder Scrolls 6” could be even longer than previously thought. ![]() This past weekend, Starfield finally released gameplay footage, but many “Elder Scrolls 6” fans were left disappointed. ![]() The Bethesda logo and scary pictures of space were all it took to get fans interested in exploring the universe with the tried-and-true Bethesda gameplay model. There have been more “Elder Scrolls 6” leaks since then, including information on the game’s claimed geography and political structures, but no new official material has emerged. “The Elder Scrolls 6” was first revealed in 2018 with a teaser trailer that displayed a basic title on a mountainous setting. My previous RPG experience was Ultima IX and I feel Elder Scrolls nicely picked up on the open world, totally immersive experience that was Ultima IX (and yes fortunately with fewer bugs).Todd Howard has come forward after “The Elder Scrolls 6” was a no-show at the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase this past weekend, confirming some of the fans’ worst worries about the game’s current state of production. My only 2 slight let downs were that there was very limited character speech outside the main cut scenes and we never get to see the silt striders moving (And still not in ESO Morrowind!). High replayability - you can't just play one character. different styles of play - you could be totally barbaric almost purely weapons based, you could sneak around with invisibility potions, spells and enchantments or you go the route of full on battlemage. The game while still being structured is not at all linear, having multiple routes to go. Almost every quest had 2 totally different ways of doing it - like you could fight your way through a whole cave or you could levitate in the back entrance. Each guild / house had multiple quest paths to victory. choices, choices, choices - so many guilds, so many races, so many houses and you could only finish one house (without a major jump back in your save games) with each character. You had instructions like "travel North out of Balmoral and take the right fork in the road and look for a cave on the left". What most drew me in and why I still love Elder Scrolls 3 so much is: - there was a genuine quest element where you had to read the journal clues and figure them out (this was when it wasn't that easy to access internet by using your phone or tabbing out). Other than looking back and being shocked at how primitive the graphics were the richness and playability of the world did not disappoint. I started with Morrowind - buying it on a whim when I saw it marked down and not knowing anything about it (was trying to get over the disappointment at my copy of Everquest not working - someone had stolen the key).Īnd boy was I not disappointed. Wow I'm surprised to see that so many players have experience beyond Skyrim. |
